Netball Club

Netball club has finished for this year. It has been a great year with the girls taking part in a Tournament and coming to practice nearly every week. We have had a brilliant time over the last two years with Year 6 and I hope the children will take what they have learned and continue playing when they go to High school. Year 5 will have another chance next year to hone their skills and hopefully play some exciting games for Coedpenmaen.
We finished our practicing with some sweets and a drink. Well done girls!!!!!!

Netball Tournament May 20th 2015

Our Netball team went to Nantgarw Sports Park on Friday to take part in a tournament for the whole of the Glamorgan Valleys. There were 15 teams playing and a 49 games were fiercely contested.

We took a squad of 12 year 5 and 6 girls and they set off quite nervously from school. We had a brilliant time and the girls played really well winning 3 games out of the 7 they played. we returned to school tired but happy.

Hockey club 12/3/15

Another fabulous session tonight and it was great to see the children showing off their new skills in the matches. It was our last session with Bev from Hockey Wales and we would like to thank her and Chloe for their help over the past 6 weeks. We have had lots of fun and found lots of new talents. The children were also presented with Hockey Wales bags full of goodies. Thank you Bev and well done boys & girls. Hockey club will still be continuing on Thursdays with Mrs Vukashin.
